We are excited to host our upcoming Horsemanship Clinic & Building Your Equine Business Workshop from February 8-10, 2019 at the Haugen Training Facility in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Our weekend will kick off with an Equine Business Clinic on Friday, February 8th followed by a two-day horsemanship clinic Saturday, February 9th and Sunday, February 10th.

Horsemanship Clinic
Date: Saturday, February 9th & Sunday, February 10th
Time: 8:00 am – complete
Cost per student: $500
The two-day horsemanship clinic will focus on developing the following skills:
  • Lateral softness
  • Vertical softness and collection
  • Softness in the ribcage
  • Eliminating stiffness and elevation of your horse’s head in a run
  • Letting your horse move out naturally, but, collect and get round in its back when you take the slack out of your reins
  • Smooth stops, turnarounds, lead departures, and turns
  • Controlling your horse’s hindquarters
  • Setting your horse up for a lead change
  • Building your horse’s confidence daily
  • Reinforcing good habits with correct repetitions daily
