CLINICIANS AT EQUIFEST OF KS 2019
•Dan James-Natural Horsemanship Trainer who has proven his skills and abilities in a wide array of disciplines up to the level of World Equestrian Games, most recently in reining. He will focus on teaching the fundamental skills needed to achieve specific goals. •Mustang Maddy– Liberty Trainer of mustangs, zebras and other animal life. She will share skills for achieving better communication with your horse and reaching the level of unbridled control. •Kip Rosenthal– a highly respected Hunter/Jumper Trainer, judge and avid sponsor of the USEF Emerging Athletes Program will take ½ dozen riders on a journey from good to great in 3 days building from ground up. •Tami Purcell Burklund-Barrel Racing Trainer – formerly the winningest female QH jockey of all time turned 2x national qualifying barrel racer will share what skills are needed to be the best.

•Ben Masters – Documentary film maker, adventurist, famous for his border to border journey and film “Unbranded”. Check out film clips, talk to Ben in person, be inspired to chase your dreams!•Best of America By Horseback- Tom Seay and his wife Pat, the popular trail riding RFD TV personality and his team. Answering your questions on horse camping and where to ride from coast to coast and abroad. Adventure awaits!•Elizabeth James– Professor of Equine Science at University of Kentucky, Lecturer and Internship Coordinator covering everything from equine business management, to equine training, to equine anatomy and physiology. She is an information resource in person at Equifest.
COMPETITIONS AT EQUIFEST OF KS 2019:
•Tim Trabon Ranch Rodeo Friday & Saturday nights at 7pm. Come see the best ranch hands show off their skills at sorting, roping, trailer loading and milking. •R Bar B Top Horse Competition Daily: Could be some mounted shooting, come see the Ranch Horse Sorting, check out the UHCA obstacles challenge and a cowboy style jumping competition. Be sure to stay for the Freestyle fun on Sunday!•Equestrian Drill Teams will compete for Top Points over 3 days and 3 demos. They will complete a compulsory pattern- same for all, they will present a Patriotic routine of their own designs- displaying the American Flag, and finally they will perform a Freestyle routine. Let’s see some team talent on display!•Carriage & Driving Society of Greater Kansas City’s Driving Derby will carry you away with the speed and flash as they drive their horse drawn wheeled vehicles fast through the obstacles in a timed and skilled drive for the points
