Ride Strong: Roping 101
The Ride Strong: Roping 101 clinic is for those learning to ride and rope for the first time. You can bring your own horse or lease a GauxPro horse. You do not need a finished rope horse for this clinic. Learn the fundamentals on the ground for heading and heeling: Position, Swing, Target and Delivery, horsemanship skills and position on the sleds at a controlled pace, tack, saddle fitting and equipment use.
The clinic begins in the arena for groundwork and quickly moves onto horseback; tracking the sled, roping the sled, tracking and dallying. This clinic is designed for any age, any gender, and we will teach you how to rope, safely and in a fun family atmosphere.
